Hosted by the Space Tourism Society (STS)
What is it like to visit Earth orbit for the first time?
To live, play and work in zero gravity?
Will romance in space be different?
How does one cook and eat a quality meal and clean up afterwards?
What will space fashion and hairstyles be like?
How will music, song and dance change in a zero gravity environment?
What kinds of space sports will evolve?
These and many other “Experience”-oriented questions will be addressed in this exciting track.
Pioneers in the space experience design frontier will present and discuss their ideas for addressing the above while engaging the audiences in brainstorming sessions and wide-ranging discussions.
Space architects, fashion designers, chefs, musicians, graphic designers, writers, and movie and production designers will be among the speakers and participants. Some of the Los Angeles design schools will also be involved.
In addition to real space experience, we will explore Earth-based space-themed immersive experience facilities, as well as space-themed media and virtual worlds and games.
There is a growing “Space Experience Economy” offering creative opportunities in a widening range of space careers and opportunities to participate as humankind moves outwards into our solar system.
